This place is disgusting. It’s dirty, smells terrible, the paint on the walls is peeling. The elevator is tiny. My husband and I got there at 9:00 P.M and were very concerned about the hotel and the people lingering on the street but checked in and went to the room nonetheless. The bed was slightly bigger than a twin bed. There was no shade in window; we could see and hear everything on the street. Nothing looked clean and it smelled bad. I didn’t want to sit on that bed and much less sleep in it. We ended up booking another hotel for the three nights we were in Paris and left immediately. Don’t waste your money booking this hotel.

I don't understand the review that state this place is clean, the place is dirty and fill of bugs. homeless people will greet you camped on the street. The entrance has a long two-story stairway to the front desk. I was 5 hours early and had to pay for an extra day to get a room. The hotel has not been renovated for at least 100 years. The elevator is only for two people and doesn't feel safe. The room was facing the front and you could hear everything going on outside, drunken people yelling and sirens all the time. Right next to the hotel, there was construction going on after midnight a crew was using a jackhammer. I asked the front desk not to clean my room and one day I found the manager in my room, I told her I requested not to have my room cleaned and she replied I need to clean it and go away and come back in 10 minutes. This place does not respect your privacy, there is no inside latch or lock. they can open the door at will and I think this place is haunted as my wife and would hear someone knocking on the door and no one was there. worst vacation.

When the taxi left at the front door I wanted to leave, homeless people camped across the street. The entrance has a long two-story stairway to the front desk,(Not for older people). I was early and had to pay for an extra day to get a room. The hotel has not been renovated for at least 70 years. The elevator is only for two people and doesn't feel safe. I was given a room with a balcony to the front and you can hear everything going on outside, drunken people yelling and sirens every five minutes (I'm not kidding) there is a fire station across the street and they even use the siren even at 3 am when there aren't any cars on the road. Right next to the hotel there was construction going on after midnight a crew was using a jackhammer. Every day I asked the front desk not to clean my room and one day after eating breakfast I found the manager in my room, I told her I requested not to have my room cleaned and she replied I need to clean it come back in 10 minutes. This place does not respect your privacy, there is no inside latch or lock. they can open the door at will and I did not feel safe. every morning at 7:30am someone would knock on the door and no one was there when I answered. This hotel ruined an otherwise good week in Paris. Avoid this place!

It was a decent stay. The hotel is just next to metro station and surrounded by many restaurants and groceries. It takes 35 min to eiffel tower via metro. The receptionist was very kind and kept our luggage after checkout. I would recommend this hotel as a budget friendly option. The rooms have attached bathroom. Do not expect anything fancy in the room. It has a very old vibes. However my purpose was just to sleep and use bathroom for which it was good.

Basic room with private restroom including shower, just what I was expecting. Close to public transport and walkable distance to canal with lots of restaurants, slightly loud but to be expected being close to a busy street.
